He's actually helped me get the bot running again a few times and answered any questions I had to ask about the site.He graciously gave me an API key for the simpleswap api long before it's public launch (I think the api still isn't really public) so I could implement it into the bot.
Owners I Have had very little interaction with Alex from bitidce, but in my experience he is a friendly and fair operator. I know there was a point a chat bot run by iisurge called surgebot.There is also a rain bot run by the site that is crowd funded and occasionally rains on users in the chat. But the times i have spend in the chat were mostly pleasant, with the other users being nice and friendly. Community I have not spent a lot of time on bitdice so I do not know much about the community there. At the time of writing, I have not been able to get the bot to connect through the latest DDOS protection. Bitdice has on multiple instances changed their DDOS protection which makes things difficult for the bot to connect.
The bot connects directly to the websocket and interacts with it to place bets and get user info. I think with the minimum bet as high as it is, the betting speed at bitdice should be a bit higher.The UI is very response though and reacts quickly to whatever action you perform on the site. They have a very large minimum bet and the betting speed for the size of bets compared to similar sizes on other sites are about average. Fair 5 Speed Bitdice has an average betting speed. This does depend on how the backend handles that api calls, but it feels to me like there is a better way to handle it.Over all, the site is pretty easy to use even if the design does feel a bit full at times. I don't like having to go to the stats tab to be able to see my own stats, and very few stats are shown for the user.Swapping between currencies is an easy enough task, but having the page refresh to switch currencies seems like an unnecessary action.
I am bothered by the lack of personal stats on the home page. The deposit and cashout buttons are nice and big and easy to spot, which I feel is an important feature of the siteThe bet screen for dice is logically laid out and easy to use. It takes a while to make sense of the screen, but once you know where everything is, anything can be done within a reasonable amount of clicks/actions. Usability The bit dice ui is a bit cluttered, but works well. Things start to flow more smoothly and once you're familiar with the design, it feels pretty smooth. Feel The design feels a bit clustered and confusing at first glance, but quickly makes more sense as you start to really look at it.
